Beret, trilby, fedora, boater, melon, panama, top hat\. There are as many hat styles as head shapes! This marotte of the 30s comes from the workshop of a hatmaker. Halfway between a craft object and a poetic curiosity, this hat form is made of solid wood, heavy, polished by the years, drawn like a sculpture! This beautiful decorative object carries a part of the history of French craftsmanship and know-how. Today, we imagine it as a decorative object or a curiosity, an original paperweight or a remarkable book block\. Make way for magic and emotion! The hat form is made of solid wood. Very old, it has a superb patina and a sublime sheen. It dates from the 30's and was surely used to form the bell hats. The wood is healthy and shiny.
